1976 - Series Three 'Big Block' Oysterdate

The Big Blocks have been in production for over 20 years. They include both exotic dials as well as more traditional Daytona-style baton markers. The third series is notable for being automatic watches, the first autochronos in the Rolex line-up. They were 12 years before the Daytona! Self-winding calibers require a deep Osyter, hence the nickname Big Block. Three bezel versions are available.
